Well, here you are. In our new private online journal. I hope this is an easier way to communicate what is going on with the kids. When I send out those batch emails…I’m never sure if everyone wants them or has time to read them, blah, blah, blah. So I’ve decided to put the control of reading about what is going on with us in your hands.
Things are progressing with our move! We closed on May 13 on the new house and ever since we’ve been getting things done. As it stands we’re scheduled to move at the end of June. We’ve been so busy that I haven’t had time to return calls, write thank yous and all other general friendship maintenance. You know who you are if I’ve neglected you…for that I’m sorry.
We’re getting tons of family help right now. Sis PC from Nashville came in for the week to help with the kids, because sis TC from Minnesota will be in on her "vacation" over Memorial Weekend to help us at the new house. TH as usual is helping during the day with the business, but also stepping in with the kids when I have client meetings and work to take care of. Of course, Mom and Dad have been helping a lot with the kids as well. We’ve been displaced during open houses and people coming to see our house (we’re wishing for a purchaser soon!) and we’ve been camping out at Mom and Dad’s place.
The kids are holding their own right now. As of this week, Gage is off of therapy from the County School until he starts Kindergarten in the fall. We’re probably going to be starting him in some speech therapy over the summer. Quinn was fitted today for a new pair of braces and is doing great in vision and physical therapy. She’s still a little drunk looking when she walks, but she makes up for it in enthusiasm. Bloodwork in early May revealed no changes…we’re thankful. The kids are safe from needles and bloodwork until early July…
Thanks for checking in.
Love,
Julia

What a great website this is! Thank you so much for sharing your family with us. You are very special and very courageous as you deal with your children medical conditions. Gage and Quinn are very lucky to have such kind, loving, and caring parents.
You continue to be in our prayers.
Much love,

Hi, I am happy that you have included me in your list of friends that like to know what is happening and I AM SO VERY HAPPY to learn that Gage and Quinn are holding their own and progressing. What a vacation is for you and the children not to have needles and stuff for a while.
What is this about the braces for Quinn?? last time I saw her you had to be quick on your feet to keep up with her. God is very good to us, and I am thankful He has given you loving family to help with the challenges He has put on your plate.
You and Julian are very high on my list of people I admire in spiritual and professional levels, to mention a few.
I hope to see you once in a while.
